Blinds and Drape Cleaning

It is important to make sure you have drapes and blinds cleaned immediately after the fire and soot. Having them professionally cleaned is important to make sure if they are able to be saved it is possible..

1. Saturate area with pre treatment laundry stain remover. Wait for product to penetrate the stain. If the stains are stubborn you will need to rub with a heavy duty detergent.
2. If color stain remains, soak/wash with Chlorine Bleach if safe for fabric or in oxtgen bleach.

Smoke odor may remain in clothing, Upholstered furniture, carpets and draperies unless they are properly deodorized before cleaning.

Use counteractants chemicals or additives that break up smoke molecules to eliminate odors.
